🤖 What is Metaview?

Metaview is an AI-powered assistant for recruiting. It joins interviews, intake calls, and debriefs to generate high-quality, structured summaries within minutes — freeing up time, improving focus during conversations, and ensuring no key detail is missed in the hiring process.

Metaview helps us deliver a consistent, efficient, and high-quality candidate experience.

💡 How Metaview Works

Metaview can be used for:

  • 🧑‍💼 Interviews
  • 📥 Intake calls
  • 🧠 Debriefs

After each call, interviewers (or recruiters) with a Deliveroo email will receive:

  • ✅ A full call summary
  • 📋 A copy/paste-ready interview note
  • 📝 A TL;DR (executive summary)
  • 🔍 The ability to query the AI assistant for quick info retrieval

🧾 Getting Started

🔐 Account Setup

  • If not auto-assigned a license, file a ticket with Recruitment Operations
  • Once enabled, Metaview will automatically join any Ashby scheduled interviews
  • To use it for other calls (e.g. Calendly), visit: my.metaview.app

📞 How Metaview Joins Calls

Video Calls

  • ✅ Automatically joins calls scheduled via Ashby
  • 📝 For non-Ashby calls, invite notes@metaview.ai to the calendar event with a valid Zoom, Google Meet, MS Teams, or Webex link

Phone Calls

To record a phone interview:

  1. Dial Metaview:
    • EU: +31 97010204414
    • UK: +44 20 3962 2122
  2. Dial the candidate’s number
  3. Press # to connect
  4. The candidate will only see your number

✅ Candidate Consent

Candidates must be informed about Metaview before the call. Here's how we handle it:

  • A message is included in interview invites:

“Some interviewers may use an AI assistant to record the interview to help with note-taking. Please only share what you feel comfortable with. The use of the AI assistant is optional – click here if you’d prefer we don’t use it.”

  • Recruiters should ensure candidates are informed by:
    • Including consent in email templates
    • Adding it to their email signature
    • Verbally checking before the interview

📌 Less than 5% of candidates choose to opt out. Metaview will never join a call where a candidate opts out.
